Why seat angle matters
Your sitting position makes a big difference.
Most chairs keep your hips at a 90° angle. This position rotates the pelvis backward, flattens the lumbar curve, and increases passive loading on the spine.
Over time this slumped posture contributes to back pain, muscle fatigue, and discomfort — especially in prolonged sitting.
A forward-tilted seat wedge improves pelvic alignment so your spine can stay naturally upright.
